I build the revenue engine in product-led businesses.

I own full-funnel growth, from demand generation to activation, pricing, packaging, conversion and renewal.

Shaili Pankaj

Most recently as Chief Growth Officer at Doodle, where I quadrupled subscription revenue in two years on a product used by millions, and rebuilt the experimentation and lifecycle infrastructure it ran on. Before that, Amazon Prime Video and Gett.

Growth, product and transformation leader. Chief Growth Officer at Doodle until 2025. Cambridge engineer, INSEAD MBA, eight countries, five languages, currently Zürich-based.

What I actually do

Rebuilding the revenue engine

Pricing, packaging, conversion, renewal. I've moved a business off advertising and onto subscription, replaced a sales motion with self-serve, and killed a pricing tier before it shipped because the arithmetic said it would eat the plan above it.

Building the measurement layer first

Doodle shipped on instinct when I arrived. Within a quarter it had an event model, company-wide analytics and a working A/B testing practice. Within a year it was running more than a hundred experiments annually, with PMs and designers writing their own hypotheses.

Shipping AI into a P&L, not a slide

Agentic support automation that cut resolution time by three quarters and took $300K out of the cost base, with satisfaction held at 80%. Lifecycle personalisation that added 15% to activation. Content tooling that let one person produce hundreds of localised articles a month.

Getting people to move together

I've led eighteen people across product growth, marketing, brand, CX and support, and built two teams from nothing. The part I'm actually good at is the bit between the teams: getting product, engineering, marketing and finance behind the same number, and making it safe to disagree on the way there. I set the outcome, then get out of the way.

Builders at an AI Jam session in Zürich

When I'm not doing that

I co-founded AI Jam, a hands-on AI building meetup in Zürich. Two jams so far, 19 builders, zero slides. I built prioritize4me, an open-source assistant that runs locally inside Claude Desktop. And I do improv theatre in Vaduz, which has taught me more about running a room than any management course did.

I'm in San Francisco, 7 to 14 September

I'm at Lenny & Friends Summit on the 10th and free either side of it. If you're building a growth or monetisation function in Europe, or you just want to compare notes on how AI-native companies are structuring theirs, I'd like thirty minutes.
